Chasen Hampton

Seasons 1-4 cast member (and co-host of Season 7), member of The Party, lead singer of Close Enemies with Aerosmith's Tom Hamilton, and Executive Director of Always In The Club Foundation.

Chasen “Chase” Hampton

Lead Singer of Close Enemies with Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton

Singer / Songwriter / Producer / Mentor (Hollywood Records’ The Party)

Chasen Hampton is an established Recording Artist, Producer, and Director, and currently serves as the lead singer of Close Enemies featuring Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton on bass, drummer Tony Brock (The Babys, Rod Stewart), Peter Stroud (guitarist and Musical Director for Sheryl Crow), and guitarist Trace Foster (played with Mick Jagger and is Tech for AC/DC). Close Enemies is a rock band blending raw emotion, melodic intensity, and modern edge. Known for their dynamic soundscapes and powerful live performances, the band fuses gritty guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and haunting vocals to create a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Their music explores themes of resilience, connection, and the tension between chaos and calm – reflecting the duality that defines their name.

As a child he was signed as a member and eventual co-host of the All-New Mickey Mouse Club on The Disney Channel, and by age 14, signed to Hollywood Records where he toured the world recording with the ’90s pop group “The Party,” produced by Dr. Dre, Teddy Riley, Pharrell Williams, André Cymone, Stephen Bray & Jellybean Benitez, among many others.

His journey led him to Hollywood where he continued to gain success in TV and Film, immersing himself into the music scene as a Songwriter, Producer & sharpening his iron among the industry’s elite. After becoming a Music Director for two schools in Agoura Hills and Studio City, Chasen discovered his true passion for giving back through artist development & teaching music business to young performers. He’s been mentoring and developing artists for 15 years and produced hundreds of live shows for children and young adults as the founder of CHASENLIFE, LLC.

Former students have gone on to sign with Disney, Epitaph Records, Capitol, Sony Red, Universal Music Group, and seen all over the world in festivals and on stages such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, GMA, Jimmy Kimmel, iHeart Music Awards and many more.

Throughout his career Chasen has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for pediatric cancer research, successfully funding 10 clinical trials. As well, lending his voice to The Aids Project of Los Angeles (APLA), The American Diabetes Association (ADA), onePulse, GKTW Village, and is a staunch supporter and #DistrictAdvocate of The Recording Academy’s MusiCares initiative to bring music back into our classrooms promoting diversity and inclusion through the arts. Chasen now serves as CEO of Always In The Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) co-founded by reunited ’90s-era Mouseketeers to empower youth through mentoring and arts education. Learn more at AlwaysInTheClub.org.

Chasen is 1/5 of the ’90s pop group, The Party. As the first band signed to Hollywood Records, The Party was a pre-Black Eyed Peas group consisting of 3 guys & 2 girls that combined music styles, fashion & the best of all things ’90s, presenting it with 5 of the most diverse, multi-talented singers & dancers you could find. The Party (an acronym for Positive Attitude Reflects Todays Youth) was formed from original cast members and went on to release 5 CDs with Hollywood Records.

The Party’s “Free” album features production by music legends Dr. Dre, Stephen Bray (Madonna), André Cymone (Prince), Teddy Riley (Michael Jackson), and Delicious Vinyl (Tone Loc, The Pharcyde), among others. Even Pharrell Williams delivered a remix and Prince used to request Frontin’ when he would go out to the club. The Party toured with Color Me Badd and Hi Five during this release, and toured Asia (Tokyo, Singapore, Korea, Indonesia & Hong Kong). Gracing the covers of all the teen magazines, The Party became regulars on MTV, VH1 & BET, touring the world with some of the biggest stars of the era. Continuously topping the dance charts in major markets, The Party won over so many with their contagious dance energy, ahead-of-their-time songs, true talent & heart. They have been representing a social movement for 30 years now with their diversity defining their legacy. Currently members of The Party are still swinging with new singles, performances and initiatives, still promoting diversity & inclusion for social charities all over the world.

For The Party’s 30th Anniversary, Hollywood Records released 4 of their previously unavailable albums on digital platforms in September/October 2020. The albums “The Party’s Over, Thanks For Coming” and “Free” hit #9 and #10 on the iTunes Sales Chart. Learn more at ThePartyLegacy.com.

The book and the mission

A story about mentorship

Cast who were once mentored on that Orlando soundstage now mentor the next generation through Always In The Club Foundation.

The Always in the Club book in hardcover, paperback, and eBook editions

The book is the first comprehensive history of the show, built from more than 62 on-the-record interviews. At its heart, it is a story about mentorship and the bonds that outlasted the cameras.

“I'm extremely grateful for the experiences and connections I made with AITC, especially with my personal mentor Deedee,” said Mason, a student in the Foundation's three-month mentorship program. “Deedee granted me with feedback and tools that I feel has greatly aided me in developing my skills as a performer and has provided me with insight on skillsets that I wasn't quite sure how to start working on.”

Where to find the book

  • Limited Edition: sold out online. The waiting list is open for a potential second printing, and a few copies will be available only at H.O.M.E.
  • Master Digital Archive: available now.
  • Trade Edition: launch list open. Released by its publisher.
